Steel Erection Program
Boilermakers are required to erect steel and do so in a safe manner. MOST established the Steel Erection program in 2002 to provide pre-job training and authorization for Boilermakers to work. This federal training requirement is called for in OSHA 1926 Subpart R.
A highly skilled craft begins with quality training.
Upon completion of the one-day course, each Boilermaker receives a completion certification providing documented proof of his/her understanding of the hazards associated with this vital skill.
